Medeia’s discovery and development strategy is target or novel mechanism-of-action driven rather than disorder-driven. For example, most of our discovery research programs span a combination of focus therapeutic areas in which a common neurodegenerative pathway plays a crucial role. Therefore, most of Medeia’s discovery programs will generate therapeutic opportunities for not just one, but many different medical conditions.

Currently our R&D pipeline is focused on discovering potent and selective new chemical entities (NCEs) to treat age-related diseases. Our strength lies on the combination of world-class expertise in the pathobiology of CNS diseases and hormonal oncology with deep understanding in medicinal chemistry and lead optimization. Our aim is to deliver orally active disease-modifying molecules with secured freedom-to-operate in several disease areas.
